HUNTERRA is not tied to one brand of tracker. Garmin, Dogtrace and NUM'Axes pair today and more are on the way, which is what makes the app the common denominator of a driven hunt: whoever brings whatever, the whole pack is in one map, each dog in its own colour and with its own track. The number of dogs is not limited. Once a dog is paired you fill in its profile, and from that moment the handler sees its state, speed, distance and direction — and the others see at a glance whose dog it is.
More brands than anyone else
On a driven hunt one man brings Garmin, another Dogtrace, a third NUM'Axes. Without a common app each of them watches his own screen and nobody sees the whole picture. Here they all land in one map.
Whose dog is that?
The handler sees his dog's track in the colour he picked. Everybody else sees a dashed line alternating the dog's colour and the handler's — so at an event where half the pack wears an orange collar, it is still obvious who belongs to whom.
Details only for the handler
State, speed, distance, elevation — that is the handler's view. The rest of the party sees the colour and the name, nothing more.

Pairing lives under Integrations
Account – Settings – Integrations – Dog trackers – Pair a new device. Bluetooth collars show up in the list, Garmin watches in their own section below it. After pairing a handheld you pick which of the dogs stored in it you want in HUNTERRA — their number is not limited.
The dog's profile
Name, stud book registration number, the colour of the collar and of the track, identification — microchip, pet passport or tattoo — breed and performance tests passed. All of it can be changed at any time, and it is what lets the ground's owner or manager put the dog into the ground's roster and generate the Mysl 6 report from it.
Tracks in the dog's own colour
The track is drawn in the colour you chose for the dog. Tap the avatar in the map or the track itself and the dog's card opens. For the others in the ground the same track is a dashed line that alternates the dog's colour with its handler's.
State, speed, distance, direction
The card shows what the dog is doing — pointing, sitting, running — whether it is giving voice, how fast it is going, how far it has run and how much it has climbed, plus an arrow pointing to where it is. The state also shows directly in the dog's avatar in the map.

- How many dogs can I have in the app?
- The number is not limited. After pairing a handheld you choose which of the dogs stored in it you want to see in HUNTERRA.
- Do the others in the ground see the details of my dog?
- No. State, speed, distance and elevation are the handler's view; everybody else sees only the dog's colour and name.
- Why should I set a colour for my dog?
- The track is drawn in that colour for the handler. For everyone else the same track becomes a dashed line alternating the dog's colour with its handler's, so at an event it is obvious whose dog it is.
- Why doesn't the ground's manager see my dog?
- A dog shows up for the ground's owner and manager only when its handler is a member of that ground and holds the Dog handler role.
